DB Schenker Provides International Paralympic
(Prague, 9. March 2010) - DB Schenker has reached an agreement to provide the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), headquartered in Bonn, Germany with Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance services across Vancouver 2010 (March 12 to 21) and London 2012 (August 29 to September 9) Paralympic Games as well as other key IPC events. Both the IPC and DB Schenker have been working together since Athens 2004.
„It is a great challenge for DB Schenker to cooperate in such prestigious and demanding event like the Paralympic Games. We have longstanding experiences with logistics of big sports events. Our least transport of that kind was the equipment transfer for the Czech bob-sleigh representation to the winter Olympic Games in Vancouver,“ closed Tomáลก Holomoucký, managing director of Schenker Czech Republic.
